Book Review: Butterface

Title: Butterface

Author: Avery Flynn

Rating: 3.5 stars

Gina Luca is a wedding planner who loves her job but has insecurities about her looks as she was teased and called ‘Butterface’ . When she meets Ford Hartigan, her life is turned upsidedown. Ford is a cop which poses a little bit of a problem for her as her family has ties to the mob.

Motives are confused as Gina and Ford find themselves in a complicated situation. Ford begins to really like Gina but Gina is unsure if Ford likes her for her or if he is using her for his investigation.

The book was quirky, filled with awkward romance. The book was different than what I was expecting and I didn’t like it as much as I wanted to but nonetheless it was still an enjoyable read.
