Favourite Books of 2018

 

I read 200 books this year! There were so many 5 star reads (at least over 50) and at least 20 4.5 star reads. It was hard narrowing down all these amazing books but here it is. These are my favourite 18 books of 2018 (including duets, of which there are many reads).

Willa Doon has been in love with Jackson Page from the moment she first met him. Unfortunately for Willa, Jackson doesn’t’ really know she exists and even calling her by the wrong name. Willa can be quite shy but she is a wonderful person. One night, Jackson sees Willa in a different light, the problem is  he doesn’t remember it in the morning. Willa is crushed but decides to move on.

Book Review: The Prize

Title: The Prize

Author: Julie Garwood

Rating: 4.5 stars

 

Lady Nicholaa is a Saxon and is trying to defend her home against Royce who is Norman and his army. But Nicholaa finds that she is unable to defeat Royce like she did the other armies and seeks refuge.  But Royce gets her to leave her Sanctuary and accompanies him to meet his king, William of Normandy in London.

Book Review: Mr Brother’s Bride

Title: My Brother’s Bride

Author: Rachael Anderson

Rating: 5 stars

 

I found this book to be completely unexpected. I have read all the historical novels by this author and they have all been fun and delightful reads and even though this book had those elements as well, it was definitely more emotional than I was expecting.

The story follows Colby and Ryan as they find their way to each other. You get to understand the characters a lot more as you follow their sometimes heart-breaking journey.
