More Than Words tells a wonderful story of fated meetings and second chances. I love Mia Sheridan’s writing and her stories are always unique.
When Jessica Creswell is just a young girl, she meets Callen Hayes just when he needs her the most. Both of them have their own family issues and inside an abandoned boxcar they forge a friendship and a strong bond. But after playing make believe, Callen disappears just as suddenly as he entered it.

WOW! There has been soo many good books this month starting the year off right.
Seek is a fast paced, action-packed and steamy romance, filled with unexpected surprises and great characters.
verall this book was ‘fantastic’ (a reference if you’ve read the book) and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The book was funny, emotional, entertaining, heartbreaking and heartwarming.
Curtis and Cassie brought out the best in each other, giving each other strength and honesty that gave them the confidence for a relationship.
The story was filled with romance but there was also a lot of time spent building a friendship and Sean’s healing. There was definite slow burn but when these two decide to be together though, it was epic.
Exes With Benefits is a second chance romance about a married couple where we meet Canaan Ford and Maggie Church.
This was a great second chance romance, filled with heartache, healing and suspense. Jeremy and Mira find love again after being apart for seventeen years.
This is the final book and overall it has been a great series filled with small-town charm, filled with swoon worthy men and strong female characters. This one is about Maisy and Hunter.
Natalia Rossi and Hunter Delucia meet at both of their best friends Anna and Decklan’s wedding, where she is the maid of honor and he is the best man.
This was filled with plenty of angst, slow burn and many twists that you had to keep reading. This is a great rockstar romance and one of my favourite of the genre.
This was a sweet read and I loved the influences of You’ve Got Mail as it is one of my favourite movies.

Favourite Books for 2017
I read around a total of 235 books this year! This is a lot less than last year but still a lot by most standards. The books are in lose order but as I found it too difficult to rate them all. My favourite and biggest series I read this year was Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. All eight books should be shown but by showing the first book, I really mean the whole series.
Most of the books I read now are by my favourite and well established authors or authors I know well. However there have been some debut authors this year that have made my list. These authors are Davney Perry and Noel Branham. Both are amazing authors and have been a go to. Especially Perry as her Jamison Valley series has quickly become a favourite of the year.
Many of favourites have been continuations of my favourite series. This includes Ella Franks Temptation series, I’m sad to say goodbye to Tate and Logan but it has been an amazing journey. I also liked the Devil’s Wolves series by Carian Cole and the newest book by Beth Flynn was much anticipated. Aly Martinez always writes amazing and very emotional duets and Katy Regnery is great at retelling fairytales (so is Linda Kage). Emma Scott made me cry with all her books and so did Mia Sheridan.
I am working on reading all the books published by my favourite authors and this goal will continue into 2018. I read all of Brittainy C. Cherry’s books this year and of course they were all amazing.
Because choosing just 50 books was really hard, I also have 10 runners up that were also amazing reads. Overall 2017 has been an amazing year for books and I’m sure 2018 will be no different.

A married couple have to find their way back to each other and fight for their love.
Two unlikely people find themselves becoming friends and end up falling for each other.

I read many good books this month but these three books are the ones that stood out among them all.
This was an epic romance, adventure and was absolutely stunning. This is the kind of book that stays with you for a long time.
This was a beautiful book of second chances and love that was both heartwarming and heartbreaking. Another great read fro Mia Sheridan.
A wonderful second chance romance based on Jane Austen’s Persuasion. This was such a touching story about two souls coming together after pain and circumstance. It was about family, loss, pain, love and so much more.
