I would totally recommend reading The Upside of Falling and The Downside of Love before reading this duet as you previously meet Colby (and Ryan) and get a lot of his back story.

Book Review: The Upside of Falling

Title: The Upside of Falling

Author: Meghan Quinn

Rating: 5 stars

As much as I love Meghan Quinn’s Rom Coms, there is something about her more serious books that just does it for me.

Colby has dreamt of becoming a fighter pilot ever since he was a young boy, playing with his model planes. Many years later, Colby is living the dream where he is a trainee at the Air Force Academy with his best friend Stryder.

Book Review: One Baby Daddy

Title: One Baby Daddy

Author: Meghan Quinn

Rating: 4 stars

I have been excited for Hayden’s story for awhile now, since reading Back in the Game and Three Blind Dates so I was excited when I saw that it was finally available.

Hayden is a professional Hockey player and after a rough end to his Rookie season, he decides to spend some time in his hometown with his friends. During this time he meets Adalyn. They hit it off instantly, I loved their relationship and their banter.

Favourites

Favourite Books Read in January

WOW! There has been soo many good books this month starting the year off right.

Seek

Seek is a fast paced, action-packed and steamy romance, filled with unexpected surprises and great characters.

Look the Part

verall this book was ‘fantastic’ (a reference if you’ve read the book) and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The book was funny, emotional, entertaining, heartbreaking and heartwarming.

Turn

Curtis and Cassie brought out the best in each other, giving each other strength and honesty that gave them the confidence for a relationship.

Bad For You

The story was filled with romance but there was also a lot of time spent building a friendship and Sean’s healing. There was definite slow burn but when these two decide to be together though, it was epic.

Exes with Benefits

Exes With Benefits is a second chance romance about a married couple where we meet Canaan Ford and Maggie Church.

Thrive

This was a great second chance romance, filled with heartache, healing and suspense. Jeremy and Mira find love again after being apart for seventeen years.

The Bitterroot Inn

This is the final book and overall it has been a great series filled with small-town charm, filled with swoon worthy men and strong female characters. This one is about Maisy and Hunter.

Sex, Not Love

Natalia Rossi and Hunter Delucia meet at both of their best friends Anna and Decklan’s wedding, where she is the maid of honor and he is the best man.

Midnight Blue

This was filled with plenty of angst, slow burn and many twists that you had to keep reading. This is a great rockstar romance and one of my favourite of the genre.

Three Blind Dates

This was a sweet read and I loved the influences of You’ve Got Mail as it is one of my favourite movies.
