From witty to pretty
I read 200 books this year! There were so many 5 star reads (at least over 50) and at least 20 4.5 star reads. It was hard narrowing down all these amazing books but here it is. These are my favourite 18 books of 2018 (including duets, of which there are many reads).

I found this book to be completely unexpected. I have read all the historical novels by this author and they have all been fun and delightful reads and even though this book had those elements as well, it was definitely more emotional than I was expecting.

I love Julie Garwood and she writes amazing historical romance. This is my second book from this author and I loved it, like I loved the first.
Baron Duncan of Wexton, seeks revenge for the brutal attack on his sister by the hands of Baron Louddon. Duncan sets out to Kidnap Madelyn, Louddon’s sister but what ends up happening was not what he was expecting.
Title: Not So Nice Guy

This is a great friends to lovers story that was funny, heartwarming, romantic and overall a very enjoyable read. Ian and Samantha (Sam) meet during orientation when they are hired as teachers at Oak Hill High School a couple of years ago. They form a bond and soon become best friends, but they are both dating other people. But by the time they are both single at the same time, neither wanting to jeopardize their friendship by admitting how they really feel.

This book is exactly what I wanted for the ending of this story. I have really enjoyed reading about Kandy and Cane’s journey. There has been many twists and turns and now these two finally get the ending they deserve.

As much as I love Meghan Quinn’s Rom Coms, there is something about her more serious books that just does it for me.

“Because I can promise you, the ending… it’s better than you think.”
WOW! This duet is my favourite thing I’ve read by Pepper Winters. This is different from anything I have read before and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This book made me so happy since we finally get to see Ren and Della together.
