I would totally recommend reading The Upside of Falling and The Downside of Love before reading this duet as you previously meet Colby (and Ryan) and get a lot of his back story.
Colby and Ryan become friends when they find themselves living in the same city. The book was definitely an emotional rollercoaster that’s heart-warming, but filled with heartbreak, angst and friendship.
The book ends on a cliffhanger that makes me glad that I can read the next book straight away.
