Gray and Layla have a past. Layla got into a bit of trouble with her law firm and as punishment, she had to teach a class at a near by minimum security prison. Gray and Layla grow close but Layla finds out something about Gray that was a deal breaker.
Back to the present Layla finds out that her new client is none other than Gray. Gray must work hard to get Layla to believe the truth as he has never moved on from her. As much as Layla would like to think that she has moved on, Gray still holds a piece of her heart.
There was a lot of drama and angst that could prevent Gray and Layla from being together, but are they strong enough to survive the storm that is coming for them?
