Book Review: Disgrace

Title: Disgrace

Author: Brittainy C. Cherry

Rating: 4.75 stars

I was given an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review

Brittainy C. Cherry always writes amazing stories and this was no exception. Grace and Finn have been married for 15 years and Grace always thought is was forever. That is until Finn decided he wanted someone else. Starting over isn’t easy for Grace but she is back in her hometown, figuring out her life.

Jackson Emery is the bad boy of Grace’s small town. He’s a bit younger than her and his family has a bit of a bad reputation. When they first interact he acts very stand-offish. But as Grace gets to know him better, she better understands him. She can tell he has a gentle soul, he’s just misunderstand. These two come together at just the right time

She was beautiful, that was a given, but she was also broken. Just like me. My broken pieces stayed shattered, and hers intermixed with them all. We were just two broken people, uninterested in being fixed.

Jackson and Grace make an unexpected couple but they are perfect together. They are so different but are what each other needs. They really bring out the best in each other.

This book was beautiful, emotional and a great read. I love Brittainy’s writing so much, there’s a reason she is one of my favoutite go-to authors.
