Both have very different lives, him with looking after the ranch and her with her music career starting to take off. But they can’t stop the feelings between them.
But someone isn’t a fan of their budding romance and Emily is put in danger by a stalker. Cooper will stop at nothing to keep Emily safe, so he hires her a personal bodyguard (tying in with the Master and Mercenaries series by Lexi Blake).
There was plenty of drama, suspense and romance. Plus it was great catching up with the other characters from the series.
