Book Review: The Learning Hours

Title: How to Date a Douchebag- The Learning Hours

Author: Sara Ney

Rating: 4 stars

With the first two guys in the series they really were douchebags. However, this is not the case for Rhett who is the opposite of a douchebag. Rhett is sweet and has one of the kindest hearts.

When Laurel first sees Rhett, she’s not impressed. He is quite average and doesn’t have the prettiest face. Rhett has just transferred colleges to join the wrestling team and he is not having the easiest time. He is getting harrased by his roommates and getting hazed by the wrestling team. Therefore it hasn’t been the easiest transition. That is, until he meets Laurel.

Laurels initial impression of Rhett starts to change and he becomes more attractive as she gets to know him better. The book really showcased that people become so much more beautiful once you get to know them and what’s truly in their hearts.

“God, how could I ever thought he wasn’t attractive when now, he’s the most handsome guy I’ve ever seen.”

Laurel really grew on me throughout the book and really enjoyed seeing these two get to know each other and grow together. It was great getting to see my favourite characters from the first two books. I can’t wait to see the series continue.

“God, I like him so much. Drown in his goodness. His kind spirit and pure heart. The romance of his second language. Sweet brown eyes and beautiful smile.”
