Book Review: Wolfsong

Title: Wolfsong

Author: T.J. Klune

Rating: 4.25 stars

I have been wanting to read this book for more than a year because I have heard so many good things about it. Wolfsong is a story of family, friendship, loyalty and love with added werewolves.

Ox’s father left him and his mother when he was twelve. Ox never really fit in and was always a little on the quiet side. Ox starts working at the same mechanic’s shop as his father and he finds a group there that understands him. But it isn’t until the Bennett’s come to town that he truly felt that sense of belonging. On his sixteenth birthday, he meets Joe Bennett and his life is forever changed. Joe’s family is a little different but they welcome Ox without question.

There were many great characters and I loved how they all worked well together. I loved watching Joe and Ox’s friendship and then that friendship develop into something a little more. The story was long but there was so much going on. I will be interested to see how the series continues.
