Book Review: P.I.T.A.

Title: P.I.T.A

Author: Brooke Blaine

Rating: 4 stars

Paige is a wedding planner who doesn’t believe in marriage and at her parents 30th wedding anniversary in Vegas (who are pretending to being happy) suddenly announce they are moving to Paris. This comes as quite a shock to Paige as they have not told her anything about it and after a few drinks she tells her parents exactly what she thinks of them. This is where her former friend and current frenemy, Richard ‘Dick’ Dawson steps in and ends up dragging her away.

“That was how it always was with us—constantly trying to one-up each other, always fighting for dominance. It put things back on comfortable ground.”

After one too many shots her memory is fuzzy about her night out in Vegas. What first seems as a ‘mistake’ force the two together and end up working on their differences and remembering their friendship and how close they were as children.
Paige and Dawson were great characters and they had great banter that was a whole lot of fun. I really enjoyed this book and was a delight to read.
