Book Review: Safe Bet

Title: Safe Bet

Author: Monica Murphy

Rating: 3-4 stars

Sydney has just gotten a position of nanny for Drew (who is Quarterback for the 49ers) and Fable and their two children. Everything is going well and Sydney is settling in when a night out at a restaurant results in false rumors of an affair between Drew and they nanny. As a way to divert the gossip they come up with a scheme where Sydney dates Wade Knox who is a long time family friend and recently drafted to the same team as Drew.

What quickly starts out as a fake relationship soon turns in to much more. I have yet to read One Week Girlfriend but it has been on my reading list for a while and I really liked Drew and Fable. Overall this was good light entertainment but felt that it could have been a little longer but enjoyable none the less.
